Dr Murgier Jérôme is born in Toulouse and did his medical training in Paul Sabatier University. He is a keen sportsman and passionate about rugby (“Allez les bleus”), he naturally had an interest in knee surgery and devoted his time to become a sports knee surgeon. He had the fantastic opportunity to do some fellowships with true mentors like Philippe Beaufils in Versailles, Julian Feller in Melbourne, Gavin Clark in Perth and Mark Clatworthy in Auckland. He learnt a lot from these very experienced surgeons. He then decided to go back to France to work in a private clinic in Biarritz where he practices knee surgery and sports medicine. Dr Murgier also does lot of research, he has published over 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts, several book chapters and gave numerous podium presentation in national or international congresses.
