2nd IQTI Meeting — June 7, 2025 | Munich, Germany
The 2nd IQTI Meeting took place on June 7, 2025, in Munich, Germany, bringing together leading international experts in the orthophedic and sport medicine knee surgery to focus on the expanding role of the quadriceps tendon (QT) in ligamentous knee surgery.
Over the course of three focused sessions followed by comprehensive discussions, participants exchanged insights on anatomical considerations, biomechanical properties, evolving harvesting and fixation techniques, as well as current evidence on clinical outcomes and complications following QT autograft reconstruction techniques.
Special emphasis was placed on the use of the QT autograft in complex settings such as ACL revision, skeletally immature patients, and MPFL reconstruction.
In addition to expert lectures, the program featured case discussions and presentations of recent studies, fostering a high-level academic exchange on key challenges and innovations in the field.
The meeting concluded with a consensus-driven outlook on future research directions and collaborative goals for the IQTI group.
