Scientific focus: 25 years research experience with present activities within clinical sports traumatology including cartilage and meniscus injuries, patella-femoral instability, treatment of multi-ligament injuries, ACL reconstructions and ACL revision surgery. Development of tissue engineering and transplantation based treatments for cartilage and bone repair. Epidemiological research on ACL injuries and their treatment in national clinical databases.
